June, 2004
 June has arrived and so have the Kings. Our guest Randy from Calgary, Alberta tied into this Tyee 32lbs, and a scrappy one at that. This large buck was taken in frog water with a lure. When we stopped in the pool to fish we saw it come to the surface and the next cast, fish on!
Another pic is of the Bistodeau's from Minnesota. With the recent heat wave, temperatures in the high 30C mark, had us wet wading and a refreshing dip in the ice water was a welcome. Dales wife Mary Sue landed this respectable nookie after a huge battle. Mary Sue was playing for keeps with this hog as the rod was bent like she had on a Halibut. This fresh fish was sticking to the bottom of this deep run and finally it came to the surface where I had a good chance to net it. We took its picture and released it unharmed.
We will be playing these large Chinooks for the next 6 weeks, see you on the water.
