The American Dream
What can I say, I get a phone call from Adam and he is arriving tomorrow entertaining a client of his on a fishing trip. This is a normal occurrence throughout the world, until I met Adam and Jesse the next day. When I arrive at the lodge the guys are having breakfast and do my introduction. After I fill out the licenses and notice that these guys are 19 and 25 yrs old, my eyebrows are raised.
We spend many days together and the guys are talking business like a couple of high rolling bankers with grey hair and nice belly. Instead I get a kid with braces and his buddy with the look of a starving actor. Am I impressed, hell ya, these kids are top of the food chain at a very young age and have the business sense of an alpha male Wall Street stock broker.
These guys have the internet game figured out and make a nice wage as well. The American dream for sure. Attached are some of the dreams that came true for these guys with some very nice Steelhead and Coho all on the Kuusamo Lures donated from Finland. Also attached is a chrome Coho landed by Terry on the Kitimat River. As you can see this is a Northern Coho as they arrive late in most systems and are of a larger size.
River conditions are on the rise and the last few weeks of season are going to be interesting.
