Easter Steelhead Report Skeena Region
Attached is a pic of a winter Steelhead caught by angler Stefano who flew in from Italy to take in the cold BC rivers. After three casts into a fast running riffle his pink magic attracted a female Steelhead and the Islander reel was smokin. As you can see in the photos the snow is still at the waters edge. Water temperatures are 35-37F so the Steelhead are slow to the fly. Our guided trips this month have been a survivorman episode for sure. Man we love those Steelhead.
