Kitimat River Lower Tidal Section
Jetboat trips into the tidal section of the Kitimat River for fresh Chinook is our June-July destination. During the change in tides, schools of Salmon enter the freshwater destined for the rivers upper reaches. These Salmon are very fiesty and one can expect the pull of a large Chinook during this time period.
